The ninety degree, bi-directional diverting is accomplished via groups of powered rollers that temporarily pop-up between the parallel belts. Thus rapidly transporting articles to the right or left.

The narrow bed design will accurately accommodate sorting rates up to 150 parts per minute, while the larger unit can handle up to 50 parts per minute.

As is usual with any linear sorter, the parts per minute rate depends upon the item lengths, weights, conveyor speed, and required gap.

In addition, operations like dispensing, identification, and labeling, are easily attached to the sorter. We'll also handle the discharge of articles in a wide variety of ways, depending on their characteristics.

For example, textiles and DVD's can typically go into bins with no damage. Yet books require gentler discharge and handling.
